What we're about

Looking to meet the young adult Jewish crowd? Getting tired of only meeting others at happy hours? So am I. Want to make lasting friendships, meet other Jews in the area, dine out, see the sights, museums, go to the theater or even have potluck Shabbat dinner? Want to shmooze with the Jews? This is the meetup for you. This is a 20s, 30s and 40s meetup group for people who identify as being Jewish.

Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars

Needs a location

Many gather at Oregon Ridge for the Annual Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars. Baltimore Hebrew Congregation (BHC) hosts Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars on Sunday, September 25, 6 PM at Oregon Ridge Park. This unique Rosh Hashanah service, led by BHC’s Rabbi Elissa Sachs-Kohen. The park opens at 4 PM as attendees enjoy picnic dinners with family and friends.* You do not have to be a BHC member to enjoy our community wide service at Oregon Ridge. Bring your own picnic dinner, snacks, and activities to enjoy in advance.

Rosh Hashanah Under the Stars is free and all are welcome. Register and print out the ticket at https://givebutter.com/rhus22

I plan to get there by 4pm and will have a spot claimed with a tarp for BHC's Chai Life group that we can use, too. The service starts at 6pm. It is recommended that you bring either a picnic blanket to sit on or folding chairs, as well as your picnic meal of choice. I will email meetup members who RSVP by the day before my phone number. I am going to post in the comments day of more details on how to find us.
