Meet up at Mobtown Cafe & Ballroom to kick off your week right on a Monday. There will be socializing and the sweet, sweet endorphins of social dance for the bargain price of $10 (plus your cocktails and food, should you partake).
No partner or prior experience required, and individuals can choose to learn as a lead or follow. At 7 pm, kick off the night with a social hour, where you can mingle, meet new friends, and order food and drink at the bar. Then, at 8 pm, we will join the regular Monday night group lesson where you'll rotate partners, learn the basics of leading or following and learn enough moves to get by.
Whether you've always wanted to learn to dance, are pushing out of your social comfort zone, or looking to refresh your moves, the weekly lesson is helpful for all level of dancers. Finally, at 9 pm, hit the dance floor for some practice in a safe, welcoming atmosphere.
- Consider bringing a change of shirt/clothes cause it can be hot and sweaty
- Dress in layers because you will get warm
