• The future of voice-based experiences

• Overview of Echo, Alexa, and the tools used to build Alexa skills.

About the speakers:

• Rob McCauley helps developers build voice-enabled applications in his role as an Alexa Solutions Architect. Rob’s background is in data analytics and he recently worked as a data warehouse developer at Amazon Robotics. A lifelong Bostonian, Rob has built database applications for HP, Cognex, TJX, and Oracle.

• Ankit is a Solutions Architect for Amazon Alexa. In this role, he works with developers to build voice-enabled experiences, known as Alexa skills, through conferences, social media, developer forums and training materials. When not prototyping new Alexa skill ideas or championing the needs of developers, he enjoys watching football.
