What's going on Riders? I know it's been a while since you've seen events organized by me. But the last month has kept me really busy. Team BCG had been to Tirupati earlier this month for their longest ride, yet. We are now here to break that record! Join us in conquering Pondicherry!

On August 29th morning (at 5:00am), we'll start our ride towards Pondicherry. Detailed itinerary below:
29 Aug - 5:00am - Group starts from KR Puram, Bangalore
29 Aug - 10:00am - Kolar
29 Aug - 6:00pm - Reach our hotel for rest - at Vellore
30 Aug - 6:00am - Start from Thiruvannamalai
30 Aug - 1:00pm - Reach Pondicherry.
31 Aug - Return bus (To be booked individually by the rider.
Please ensure not more than 3 riders are in one bus to prevent logistics issues)
Indulge in sightseeing and beach visits till night - Return by bus - at nightfall ..
This is a COMPLETELY SELF SUPPORTED RIDE. THERE IS ONLY A LUGGAGE VEHICLE, to carry your luggage. The riders have to book their return bus journey tickets on THEIR OWN. You can choose between returning on Saturday / Sunday from Pondicherry, depending upon your convenience. Hotel accommodation at Thiruvannamalai will be provided for those individuals who confirm their attendance and pay before 20th August.
The return journey is by bus. Should you opt for the bus leaving Pondi on 30th night, you will be in Bangalore by 31st Morning (Sunday). Else you can leave Pondi on 31st night and reach Bangalore on Monday morning)
Overall, you'll be looking at a budget of INR3000 (Including the return bus journey)
Please note: Since this is a self supported ride, all riders will be subject to scrutiny to make sure they are able to ride this long distance. What to bring: - Bike & Accessories - A working/Serviced cycle, (Check Air pressure) - helmet - For Early Morning/night ride - Powerful front light & Back LED blinkers - Spare tubes, - puncture kits and minimal tools help in case you or your friends end up with a flat. - Snack/Drink - water - Sports drink, ORS or Glucose (Besides Water) - Snacks - chocolates, Banana Etc. - Clothing - Bright reflective Clothing - Light Clothing preferably shorts & t-shirt - Gloves help. - Additional Money for Food, Travel back and any other Eventualities.
Safety:- - it’s not a Race, it’s a Ride - Follow Traffic Rules - Ride with the Group - Maintain Sufficient distance between cycles. - Be Alert on the Road and watch your back - Motorists have the right of way, - If you have not been keeping well, don’t ride. - It is a self-supported event. While other cyclists generally stop to help, be prepared to take care of yourself and your bike
General Instructions: - - Do a Warm up before your ride. - Hydrate yourself with ORS or glucose at regular intervals. Plain water is not always good. - Riding in Traffic or Highways has a risk of accidents. Your Safety is in your hands. - Reach out to Fellow rider who is in need of help.
P.S - The group, Host or the Organizers are not claiming any responsibility for the cycles or any kind of damage caused. So please take individual care and responsibility to make it a smooth ride. If you're not following group rules, you will be asked to go back home. NO HELMET? NO RIDE! Ride Safe. Any concerns / queries / confusion, please reach me out.
