This is a group for anyone interested in hiking in Thailand. All skill levels are welcome, but you should be physically active and able to do intermediate to moderately strenuous hikes. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. I would like to plan day trips/overnight trips from Bangkok on the weekends (especially holiday weekends) to explore the beautiful natural areas of Thailand. Anyone with experience or knowledge of Thailand's nature areas and an interest in the outdoors is encouraged to join!

8.00: Van leaves from Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS. It takes around 2 hours to get there.
10.00: Arrive at Maple Gardens, free time to walk at Maple Gardens, Kanchanaburi, you can enjoy walking through colorful flower gardens, take photos with scenic mountain views, and relax in a peaceful natural setting. Visitors can meet and interact with small animals at the pet zoo, enjoy all-you-can-eat longan, and unwind with drinks at the café. It’s a fun and easy stop that combines nature, photos, and light activities for all ages.

13.30: Back to the entrance and take a van to the Tiger Cave Temple. (around 30 mintues drive)
14.00: Arrive at the Temple (Hike the stairs to visit the temple)
15.00: Visit Meena Cafe (drink and food is not included)

Khao Wong Cave & Khao Chamao Waterfall
BTS Udomsuk station Skytrain, 1930 Sukhumvit Rd, Khet Phra Khanong, THThe underrated hiking trail and caves in khao Chamao-khao Wong national park. The trail itself is a famous location to shoot a couple of Thai movies and drama, once we get into the trail, we will find the red flowers bush bloom in three valleys, that local believe this flower will guide you to your soulmate. This flower is usually fully bloom in February, during the Valentine's week.
After the cave trail, we will visit khao Chamao national park for the waterfall, which we can choose to jump into the waterfall or just the splash before ending the full day trip out of Bangkok

6.50-6.55: check-in
7.00: van leaves from Bangkok to Khao Wong-khao Chamao National Park. The journey takes around 3hours including gas station break.
10.00: Arrive at Khao Wong cave entrance. We will register, get equipment and safety briefing from the National park ranger. After that, we will follow our ranger to the hike and visit caves and flowers that bloom once a year in February during Valentine's week, that local believe go bring good luck especially for love.
11.30: Return to the entrance, back to the van and drive to Khao Chamao National Park. (Around 30 minutes drive)
12.00: arrive at the national park, get lunch.
13.00: start hiking to the waterfall. Rhis route take around 3 hours to reach the peak and return to entrance.
16.00: return to the van and back to Bangkok
19.00: expected to be returned to Bangkok and end of the trip.

Khao Wong Prachan & Hiking
Soi Wutthakat 24, Khet Thon Buri, Kr, THChallenge hike at Khao Wong Prachan Trail. We are going to track the back trail of Khao Wong Prachan hill and pop up at the top peak where we find the temple, after visiting the temple we are going to hike the staircase back to the entrance. The staircase leading to the Giant Seated Buddha was just opened to visit, we can take extra steps to visit the Buddha too.

7.50: Check in
8.00: Van leaves from the Gas Station near Wutthakat BTS Station.
11.00: Arrive at the temple. We will have lunch and an introduction before we start hiking up to the peak.
12.00: Start hiking to the top of the peak. The distance of the trail is 7.2 km (Elevation gain 680 meters) and we will take the stairs to go down. The hiking time is around 2-3 hours.
15.00: Back to the entrance, get refreshed, and stretch. We can also walk up to the Buddha Image (extra steps)
16.00: Leave back to Bangkok
19.00: Arrive back in Bangkok and end the trip
