Barcelona Kernel Peer Lab

Details

A Peer Lab is a meeting of developers who want to work on a specific project. In our case that will be the mainline Linux Kernel. It can be that everybody has it's own little project he wants to work on. It can be that you find someone else to work together on a specific project, or you don't have a project but you are interested to start contributing to the kernel.

This time we have Nicolas Saenz (https://twitter.com/vianpl), Linux kernel engineer at SUSE who will explain us how to debug the Linux kernel using extended Berkeley Packet Filter (eBPF). After that we will start hacking on our projects :)

Time table:
18:00 - 18:30 Debugging kernel modules with eBPF
18:30 - 22:00 Happy hacking

The session will be lead by Matthias Brugger, who is a seasoned Linux kernel developer, employed by SUSE who works on arm64 for the SUSE and openSUSE products. In his spare time he is maintainer of the Mediatek SoCs in the mainline Kernel.
