DNA - you hear about it in the news, you see diagrams and illustrations of it, everyone is talking about it related to health, medicine, your personality and your family.
But what actually is DNA, how do we know anything about it, and why does everyone make such a fuss about it?
Join us in the first whizz-bang Barcelona Fun Science Meetup of 2017 to discover the answers to these questions through experiment and play. We'll be extracting our own DNA, building really cool models, learning what 'deoxyribose nucleic acid' actually means, and talking about the history of DNA research and how we found out what we know now about DNA.
