Marc at La Republique du Fromage (https://www.facebook.com/LaRepubliqueDuFromage/) loved it so much that we're hosting another fantastic hands-on cheese workshop open to the public - including fans of La Republique and our Fun Science community.
Limited tickets available, so grab yours while you can!
Join us on Monday, 13th February for an exclusive session hosted by Rachel from Barcelona Fun Science (http://www.barcelonafunscience.com/) and the excellent gang at La Republique du Fromage. We'll be learning all about the history and science of cheese-making, accompanied by a social meal and guided 7-cheese tasting with Marc, who will be telling us all about the different types of cheeses - how they are made, and what makes them look, feel and taste so different.
As always, we'll also be getting to grips with the key ideas by doing it ourselves! We will be exploring the basic principles by making our own butter to accompany the meal, and experimenting with our own home-made cheese together which you'll be able to take home.
Add in an awesome bunch of fun, curious people, and it's going to be a night to remember - don't miss out!
Ticket Price is 28EUR per person, which includes the cheese-tasting, meal, activities and 1 drink (beer/wine).
You will be able to buy more drinks on the night if you like. Tickets will be available until 12.30PM (lunchtime) on Sunday, 12th February - you won't be able to buy on the door, so get yours while you can!
Limited availability due to the size of the venue - once they're gone, they're gone.
[Event in English, with social Spanish too as part of the activities & meal]

Who are Barcelona Fun Science? We're a friendly bunch of adults who are curious about the weird and wonderful science of the things we see every day. In every session we set a theme, and then explore a couple of different hands-on activities and games together to learn about what?, how? and why? things work the way that they do.
We come from all different educational and professional backgrounds, and you don't need any previous science experience to come along, play, and meet new people.
You also don't need to have come to any previous events to join us.
