This is the Underwater Hockey meetup group for western Connecticut. We would like to invite you to try underwater hockey, a fun a competitive sport. Try something different, get some exercise, learn something new.
You probably never heard about UWH , hardly anyone has.

WHAT TO BRING?
Bring your bathing suit and your snorkeling gear if you have it. We have plenty of extra equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, glove, stick) at Cheshire for you to use while you're a beginner.
WHEN, WHERE and COST?
Cheshire Community Pool Sunday mornings (9-11:15) $13 all day for non-residents, less for residents.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll give you one on one lessons at what ever pace you are comfortable with. We will teach you to snorkel if needed. As a newbie you'll use an orange stick until you master the basics.

Every Sunday except for holidays, and swim meets (NO UWH swim meet events are posted).
If your new then RSVP so we know you are coming.
If you new to UWH then RSVP with at least a days notice so we can to bring extra equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, glove, stick).

Let's play some great hockey at the new indoor/outdoor pool in Cheshire! They keep the pool at a nice 84 F degrees and we can enjoy it indoors during the winter, and then they open the walls to an outdoor style in the summer!
All day passes available for $13 nonresidents, $9 residents. They also offer memberships, which if you plan on attending regularly saves a few bucks.
