On Open Shop Sundays:

• Help with a community project

• Stop by to meet some of our community members and check out our new shop!

• Work on your own projects,*

See what tools we are now offering for community members, including:

• 3D printer (ours is member-built a Prusa i3)

• Lots of space/long tables for spreading out your big projects, including crafts and electronics

• Wood Shop Hand Tools

• Wood Shop Power Tools (drill press, chop saw, radial arm saw, scroll saws, router, & table saw, etc.).

• Bin storage for your project parts

We will always have a Shop Supervisor on Duty during Open Shop Time. If you aren't sure how to use a piece of equipment, or what would be the best tool to use for your project, please ask the Shop Supervisor.

About this week's Shop Supervisor: Simon is highly-skilled and professionally experienced in electronics, woodworking, and computer science. He has his own version of our Prusa i3 3D printer, which he uses to prototype personal inventions!

Parking: Please park right in front of the Highlands Art Garage, or in front of the row of garages to the right of it (leaving space for the owners to open the doors).

*Age Requirements: Open Shop Time is appropriate for ages 13+. *You must be over 18, and you must take our Wood Shop Safety Class, in order to use any power tools.

If you like what you see: Come by on a Sunday morning, and you can become a member of the Barrel of Makers' Community Shop by taking these two quick classes, for a total cost of $25!
