This meetup event will be focused on the use of R in the development of pharmaceuticals. This will be a two-hour event with two keynote presentations following with round table discussion, where we will discuss opportunities and challenges in using R as the primary tool in drug development.

Bay Area Biotech-Pharma Statistics Workshop (https://www.bbsw.org) is a two-day conference to promote the practice and impact of statistics in the San Francisco Bay Area, and foster collaboration across multi-disciplinary groups, companies, and institutions. The theme for this year’s conference is Innovation and Leadership. Highlighted sessions include Data Science in Biotech-Pharma, Complex Innovative Trial Design, Informing Personalized Health Care, Biomarker and Machine Learning, and Intersection of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Data Science.
