How do you express your creativity? How does this support your life?

In the tradition of Joseph Beuys, I consider everyone to be an artist, and all creative actions to be art. My career as an environmental artist is focused mainly on creating in and with nature with groups, as a means to connect people with the earth, with each other, and with the power of creative collaboration. I also co-organize a gift-economy weekly community dance event which has as its mission to promote free expression, community, physical and emotional health, and a spirit of generosity. I also organize a weekly contact improvisation jam. I'm driven towards creating all these activities for myself and others not only for the joyfulness of the moments they bring, but also for the lasting effects they can have upon humanity and the natural world we live in.

What kind of creative collaborative gatherings are you interested in? Share one or two ideas. All ideas welcome.

I'm especially interested in playful improvisation across disciplines. An example of this is an annual event I organize for Earth Day at Stinson Beach. Last year, I danced on the sand with others, while making sculptures with our feet, along with improvised live music.

Introduction

Conscious co-creation is central to my work as an environmental artist, educator, and dance organizer. See http://www.soulsa..., http://www.nature..., and http://www.playfu... for some of my activities.
