Jeremy Brown and Geist Interactive are convinced that any FileMaker developer can learn JavaScript, for use in a FileMaker context. If we can invest some time, we'll produce great things. But there's potentially a lot to learn in JavaScript, so Geist Interactive created the JavaScript Learning Path:
"Based on five common workflows, we can identify parts of the JavaScript language to learn so that we [as FileMaker Developers] can be effective sooner rather than later."

At this DIG-FM meetup, Jeremy will introduce some JS concepts we need to know, some of which you may already know from your FileMaker work. He'll lead us in some basic exercises, and demonstrate how to work with example JavaScript libraries.
