1:00 meet at Oceana High School to catch shuttle to castle
1:15 to 2:45 TOUR CASTLE

Directions to Sharp Park Golf Course (Highway 1 & Sharp Park Rd in Pacifica):
From the south bay, take 280 north, past Tanforan Shopping Center.
Take the Hwy 35/Pacifica exit and go south about 5 miles.
Exit at Sharp Park Road (left) and go down toward the ocean.
At the 4th light, turn left.
Go to the stop sigh. Entrance is on the right.
(There will be signs to the golf course.)

From there, a free shuttle takes us to the castle.
NO parking is available at the castle.

Kathleen, a historian at the Pacifica Historical Society, says the CEO of the castle, Annette Pool, will be present. Those of you who are interested could ask Ms. Pool if you can conduct an investigation at a later date.

Kathleen said during Prohibition, and even in the 50s and 60s, there was a lot of crime in Pacifica (e.g., bodies getting thrown off cliffs!). I read somewhere there is a ghost in this castle. There is also a creepy Pacifica ghost story here:
