spaCy v3: State-of-the-art NLP from Prototype to Production

Innes Montani and Matthew Honnibal, founders of Explosion which creates the widely used spaCy NLP library, will talk about the most recent release.

spaCy is a popular open-source library for industrial-strength Natural Language Processing in Python. spaCy v3.0 features new transformer-based pipelines that get spaCy’s accuracy right up to the current state-of-the-art, and a new training config and workflow system to help you take projects from prototype to production.

Bios:

Ines Montani is a developer specializing in tools for AI and NLP technology. She’s the co-founder of Explosion and a core developer of spaCy, a popular open-source library for Natural Language Processing in Python, and Prodigy, a modern annotation tool for creating training data for machine learning models.

Matthew Honnibal is the creator of the spaCy NLP library. He started working on NLP research in 2005, and stayed in academia until 2014, before moving from Sydney to Berlin and co-founding Explosion.
