Outdoor Active-flow Yoga for health, posture, and fitness.

Life West Chiropractic Health

Welcome to an all level Yoga practice. If you're moving, breathing, present, and finding challenge appropriate for you, you're doing a good job. The focus of the class is to connect with your core and postural muscles while undoing the work week. There are Yoga mats and other props available. You are welcome to bring your own mat, props and water. The class will be outside, fortunately we do have indoor facilities available for in-climate weather. --Cost (potentially free)-- If you are NOT a member of the school's Health Center, the cost is 10$ cash which will be donated to the Yoga club for future props and teaching materials. If you ARE a member of the Health Center, the class is free. You will need to provide the business card from your chiropractic intern with your next reevaluation date on it. If you are a Student of the school, entrance is free with student Identification. --Location-- We are on the back side of the school on the patch of grass or in the adjacent assembly hall if it's cold/rainy. There are sunny as well as partially shaded spots under trees. There is lots of free parking at the location. --Style-- Expect a Vinyasa flow inspired class. The beginning is slower paced focused on opening up the hips and chest while providing alternatives to later postures. The pace will increase to include some humbling balance and core. Shake off competition and be ready to laugh at yourself, you do what you can do. The intention of the class is to hit your reset button to be present with your weekend. Don't be afraid to ask questions if something isn't feeling great or you don't know what you should be feeling in a pose. I'm excited to meet you!
