Why do you think it is important for kids to learn about new technologies?

Technology can empower humans to make sound decisions. However one can't be a slave to technology and has to use it wisely. Empowering kids early to make this decision takes careful preparation and teaching.

What is your experience either from the teacher/mentor or parent side of getting kids to code?

4 years volunteer a renowned Cupertino school and also tutor kids at middle and elementary levels who have a passion to learn.

What methods have you tried?

Several such as self learning. group discussions, sharing, white-board practice, report writing. etc

If you have skills that you would like to teach kids, what are they?
