Bootstrapping a D3 Practice with @currankelleher

we're happy to welcome @currankelleher (https://twitter.com/currankelleher), who's visiting the Bay Area this week from his home base at the geographic center of India. Curran will share his experience building Datavis.tech (https://datavis.tech/), a data visualization consultancy where he puts his deep knowledge of d3 into practice.

Since 2005 Curran has been building data visualizations with with Web technologies. Curran enjoys using visual encodings of data to understand the world and communicate that understanding to others.
Curran's D3.js experience does all the way back to 2013, and indeed d3 is still his tool of choice today. Curran is a teacher at heart, and has lectured on computer graphics and data visualization in both academic and industry contexts.
