Pacifica to Half Moon Bay Brunch Ride | 40 miles, 2600' climb

Description: This is a round-trip coastal ride that begins at the Sharp Park Golf Course in Pacifica, but you can start from SF or ride from Daly City BART if you wish. It goes along beach bike paths, south through the Devil's Slide Tunnel and ends up in Half Moon Bay where we'll have lunch at the Garden Deli. The return will take us along the new Devil's Slide multi-use 1.3 mile path with amazing cliff views. We will try to go on as many side roads off of HWY 1 as possible, but please be comfortable riding single file on narrow HWY 1 with a possible headwind north. 14-16 MPH on the flats. 10 min. wait at the top of climbs. This is a social ride, not a race! No sweeper.

Meet: 9:30 AM Depart: 9:45

Park on the street that parallels the golf club. Not in their parking lot.

Bring: Helmet, tube, tools, fluids, snacks, lunch money-you order at the counter. There may be summer fog, so dress accordingly.
