Fifth annual Lake Tahoe Hike, kayak & Party Fest !
OK. Read all & print for reference. More info coming. We will meet at a restaurant on Friday night. This year I have a new & beautiful kayaking location at Emerald Bay & the Vikingsholm Castle on the south Shore. Great for sun bathing, swimming, has a off shore lagoon & 2 creeks. Parking there will be difficult again. So we will load up the vehicles. ************Print up this Itinerary. - Sat. am after breakfast (at the lodge) or at the Famous Log Cabin a few blocks away . (Amazing breakfasts). We will load up vehicles & head to the South Shore . About a 45 min. drive to the Emerald Bay parking area. We will walk down the 1 mile road/trail to Emerald bay & get our kayaks . The water here is very blue & pretty calm. No big wind issues. We also can kayak to & around the island Tea House & to the mouth of Emerald bay where there are sandy beaches. You may also tour the Castle & swim at their beach or hike to eagle falls behind the castle. (Very short trail) **Sat. night we will have a Pot Luck Bar B" Que at the lodge. Some may have their secret receipes to share. SUNDAY: After breakfast at the lodge(easier). We will head South again to the Emerald bay area for our stunningly beautiful hike to Eagle Falls Lake. It is moderate & not very long. Uphill trekking in parts. Small waterfalls & pools in the beginning. (Wear bathing suit underneath if you wish to swim) ** Good hiking shoes are a must. The lodge will hold 30 people. Four of the nicer rooms will have 1-2 larger beds. I'll send out the Lodge rules later. The lodge has a hot tub,horseshoes, ping pong, etc. Full kitchen, fire place. Note: if some wish to make meals instead of going out to eat there is a 5.00 p.p. cost. (For sat. night) Itinerary: Arrive by early evening Friday. ***I'll have the lodge entry code for guests. Meet up at the above named restaurant. Across from the lake shore. ****Please make your lunches Friday night for the sat kayaking. Or purchase it at one of the nearby deli's. Bring all your beach wear, towel, etc. & water shoes or old tennis shoes for the kayaking. Bring a bungee cord or rope & zip lock bags for non wet-able things. Bring your Lunch & I'll have water & most of my usual food, snacks & drinks & Vino for all. NOTE: Most of the lodge has bunk beds in the rooms. So bring your own bedding, pillow, etc. men & women in separate rooms. Some of the rooms have 5-6 beds. Cost for the 3 day weekend including lodging,[masked] p.p. Bay Area Fun Events Meetup has many exciting offerings. Some events are small cocktail parties, others are huge events at major hotels. We have dance lessons, wine hikes, dog lovers meetups. Bay cruises, and tours to other countries, as well as exciting dance party mixers -- to name a few!. Team members are constantly coming up with new exciting ideas for Meetups. Couples and singles are welcome to join and attend. Many members are single and available! Why? Because SINGLES KNOW HOW TO PARTY!

Ageism. Please don't join and then complain that people are too young or too old. Generally people are 25 up and in 30's, 40's & 50's. Some are younger than 25 and some are over 59! Ageist comments like "there were too many wrinkles" are not cool.

We work closely with other organizations including Professionals Guild.as well as other groups hosting fun events!. We support the Seva Foundation by co-sponsoring the SINGLES CHARITY BALL and we help cure many blind people in the poor countries of the world.

Our New Years Eve parties feature a live bands and a DJ, Casino Gaming, Party Favors, and amazingly hotel room rates with breakfast for 2 at the San Ramon Marriott, and the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. We actually have 2 beautiful Bay Area hotels reserved for us.

The FastTimes Band (above) is one of the bands that has played for us on New Year's. We are also working with other great bands, like the Groove Doctors.
