South Bay.NET: ASP.NET Tag Helpers, Only in Core

If you like how Angular and React allow you to both enhance the behavior of HTML elements as well as create new elements, you’ll love how ASP.NET Core Tag Helpers does that on the server. No more ugly HtmlHelper methods that only a mother could love. Now, create HTML the way HTML is suppose to be. Simple form tags, input tags, basic css class attributes and everything you already know about HTML just works on your Razor view pages.

In this 1 hour presentation, you will learn about the only 100% new feature in ASP.NET core, Tag Helpers. You will see an overview of the 17 or so Tag Helpers that Microsoft ASP.NET team has built for us. We’ll also go over how to author your own Tag Helpers, and you’ll see how simple and powerful that is. Never let your customers see a stale image again!
