Sew and Socialize at the Castle in Fort Totten

Please join us Saturday afternoon at the Bayside Historical Society. Beginner seamstresses and quilters are most welcome and will find inspiration and guidance. We have sewing machines for those without.

We will set up our creative camp in the upstairs ballroom that is full of sunlight and views of the open fields and Little Neck Bay. Use this time to work on your fall wardrobe, a quilt, or an embroidery project.

If you would like to reserve one of our four sewing machines, let me know when you RSVP.

To get to the Meet-Up tell the guard at the Ft. Totten entrance that you are part of the sewing group at the Castle and he will direct you. Parking? No problem on Murray or Weaver (ignore the signs). You may pull into the driveway to unload by the ramp at the rear of the building, but unless walking is difficult for you, please do not leave your car in the drive.
