Hi Kind Souls,

Nurses' Day is coming on 1 August. With the onslaught of COVID-19 and the various physical distancing measures in place, we would like to appreciate the staff working at our adult disability homes Moral Welfare Home, THK Home for Disabled @ Chai Chee, Eunos and Sembawang taking care of our resident friends.

For JULY 2021, we will be creating NURSES' DAY themed CARDS!

All you need is a willing heart, some art supplies, and A4-sized papers (we recommend higher GSM papers)!

How to get started:

  1. Complete this form: https://forms.gle/yhN744eGQEDLsnRa6

and pledge the number of NURSES' DAY cards you can do. No need to fret about fulfilling a quota, just do what you can. Every little bit helps!

  1. Create your NURSES' DAY CARDS. Remember to sign off on the cards so our friends would know this came from a human being who have them in mind!

  2. Mail your cards to the following volunteer's address to ensure they reach by 19 July 2021. From there, we will collate and send them to the various homes :)

THK Home for Disabled @ Chai Chee, Eunos and Sembawang (https://www.thkmc.org.sg/persons-with-disabilities/) provides long-term residential care for adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other co-morbidities.
