I'm Sukhi and I'm the organizer for the Be Your Own Best Friend (BYOBF) Network group. Congratulations on deciding to surround yourself with positive and supportive women.
BYOBF Network was established in 2012 as a South Asian women's networking group.
The network brings like-minded women together, empowers women in all areas of their lives and acts as an online resource. We host bi-monthly events, coffee nights as well as occasional talks from interesting speakers.

BYOBF Network HOLIDAY MINGLER with Tarannum Thind

Join us for a festive evening of connection, conversation, and celebration as the Be Your Own Best Friend Network hosts our annual Holiday Mingler in collaboration with Tarannum Thind. This gathering is all about creating space for women to meet, recharge, and uplift one another as we close out the year.
The HOLIDAY MINGLER is for South Asian women from all walks of life. Whether you’re a professional, entrepreneur, student, creative, homemaker, or simply someone seeking community, you’ll be welcomed into an inclusive space where stories are shared, ideas are sparked, and friendships begin.
Enjoy an evening of:
- Connecting and mingling with a vibrant community
- Celebrating the accomplishments and journeys of women in our network
- Meaningful conversation and an audience-driven Q&A with Tarannum Thind
- Networking and building meaningful relationships
- A warm, celebratory atmosphere to close out the year
Food and beverage:
Each guest is responsible for purchasing their own food and drink. Spice Republic will be offering one complimentary chai, and a la carte appetizers are included in your ticket.
This special gathering is hosted in collaboration with Tarannum Thind, media trailblazer and Host and Producer of the popular podcast Chai with T, which has over 36 Million views and 110K subscribers. Tarannum’s work continues to uplift and amplify diverse voices within our community.
