What we're about
Fun, easy to learn the basics, fast movement in the sand, fast-paced volley game, so much fun!
If you have never played, after one lesson you will already be able to play around on the court. If you are coordinated, athletic or have already played tennis, paddle, volleyball, pickle ball, racket ball, you'll pick this up quickly and be zooming the ball around the court.
Beach Tennis is a Big Sport all over the world, is now played in 53 countries, started in Italy over 30 years ago and is said to be the fastest growing sport at the time. We are now playing it in Hermosa Beach (about 80 people, 4 permanent courts), Manhattan Beach (3 permanent courts), and Santa Monica (3 permanent courts).
This is the only place where we are playing at night, which makes it accessible to people who work :)
Come try it out!

Beach tennis is a hot new sport growing in a big way all around the world (already played in 53 countries, especially in Italy and in Brazil). Why?
Fun, fast paced, aerobic, easy to learn
Even if you have never played tennis, you will leave the first lesson with enough skill to play around and have fun. If you have background in other sports, youll quickly be playing this adrenaline-packed sport.
Moving around in the sand burns calories! Burn 600 calories per lesson! Come give it a try and see the results!

First lesson through Meetup is just $10, so come check it out!
We put these lessons to work on Saturdays in Santa Monica at the permanent courts set up at the end of Ocean Park Blvd, the address for Google to find it is 2600 Barnard Way, Santa Monica. There are 3 courts set up there, and we hold lessons on the first court. You guys are also welcome to take lessons over there, we have beginner and intermediate lessons (separate) from 11-3 pm, full hour lessons (1pm lesson is intermediate/advanced).
We will have the second court set up for free play for everyone to play before and after there lessons as well as people who want to come to just play. We have a few extra rackets so shoot us a message if you are coming just to play or bringing friends so we can try to have enough rackets available. You should reserve a space in lessons there (4 people per court) through the Santa Monica meetup: http://www.meetup.com/meetup-group-SgaCnwNz/ #
