Do you enjoy learning about the history of the "smallest cool town in America"... Beacon NY? Join like minded individuals for interesting history talks, museum exhibits, walking tours, ghost tours, cemetery walks, postcard shows and more. Monthly programs feature guest lecturers on the history of Beacon and its antecedents Matteawan and Fishkill Landing. Twice yearly walking tours feature architecture, cemeteries, famous and infamous residents and visitors, ghosts. Special events will be posted in advance. Join Anthony Musso as he discusses the Hidden Treasures of the Hudson Valley (Vol 3 in the series). Musso identifies fifty-five lesser known but historically rich sites, which played an important role in the establishment of the region. Read about, then visit the locales featured within these pages to gain an understanding of the buildings, open space and important landmarks and their relation to the region’s past. Talk includes a Powerpoint presentation and book signing.
