Hi everyone!
It's about time that we get crafty! Yay!
One of my favorite forms of expression is Collage. I love the texture, the layers, the rough edges and especially the final result. It's amazing how little paper pieces can become such an interesting image.
Inspired by our friend Renee Rilexie (http://www.rilexie.com/) solo exhibition called “Hive Mind” (info below), we will create Portrait Collages. I will share with you the techniques I used to create the image below. No previous expereince required.

If you would like to transform portraits into beautiful and colourful paper mosaics then this workshop is for you.
And to spice things up a bit and keep your creative juices flowing, we'll give you a FREE drink (a glass of wine or soft drink/juice).
All materials will be provided but it would be great if you could bring:
- A portrait that you like for inspiration. It can be a picture of a model, an artwork, a photo of a loved one or even a selfie. Just make sure it's a close up of a face.
- Old magazines, newspapers or different papers to use in your artwork and to share.
