Hi everybody!

Welcome to the Night Photography Workshop!

This workshop is suited for beginners that want to learn about night photography and long exposures techniques.

But all levels are welcome. :)

In this workshop, I will give you some tips and guide you through the process of taking night pictures using the manual mode of your camera.

We are going to practice some long exposures and get creative with:

• Movement and Light Trails

• Ghost Effect

• Light Bokeh

• Zoom Effect

And

• Light Painting

What to expect:

• Learn to set your camera for different night photography effects;
• A very friendly environment for a small group of 6;
• Talk about ways to improve your images;
• Have fun experimenting with different techniques.

SOME IMPORTANT STUFF

Price:
Full price: £35

Time:
We will meet at 6:30 for a 6:45 start.

Meeting:
In front of Lambeth North Station. Look for a tall girl with a Meetup sign and an umbrella full of lights. Hard to miss. haha

What to bring?

• A camera that has Manual Mode. Please check your gear.
• TRIPOD (essential - I have an extra tripod. Let me know if you need one)
• A zoom lens (optional - but essential for learning the Zoom Effect)
• Extra batteries (Come with fully charged batteries - long exposures use a lot of your battery)
• Lens hood (optional)
• A trigger (optional)
• Warm clothes (Remember that this is an outdoor event so it gets colder than usual. Please be prepared for staying outdoors for a long time. Dress like you are going to ski. haha)
• An umbrella or a rain poncho (essential - something to protect you from the occasional drizzle)
• A snack (optional)
