Creative Images Of Plastics Using Cross Polarization (Photography Workshop)

Artist Wendy Tuffin will be hosting a workshop on using cross polarization to photograph plastics.

Cross Polarization is a simple technique which can produce some very colourful results when photographing (injection moulded) plastics.

Within the workshop she will aim to give you a brief idea of the principle behind the technique, but mostly the opportunity to try it for yourself. You will however, need to bring the following equipment with you:
- Camera
- Lens (ideally suitable for still life distance photography)
- Circular polarising filter (very important)
- Laptop or Tablet (Fully charged please)
- Any transparent (injection-moulded) plastic you'd like to photograph
