What we're about

“There are two types of speakers: Those who get nervous and those who are liars.” – Mark Twain

We get together to practice skills like presenting speeches, giving feedback and speaking off the cuff, all in a friendly and supportive environment. Our members include people who need to give presentations at work, people preparing for wedding speeches, and people who are looking for more self confidence and better communication skills.

All skill levels are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced speakers. We us the self-paced educational programme from Toastmasters International, so when you join us you become part of a world-wide network of over 15000 clubs.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at the University of Bedfordshire (Gateway Building) at 7.15pm.
