We gather the first Thursday of every month. Throughout the rest of the month, we meet at various beer bars, restaurants, breweries, festivals and bottle shops to sample the best craft beer in the area and hangout with friends both new and old.
Since we are an alcohol based social group, there are a few policies to note:
*Please do not drink and drive. We try to pick locations with easy access to public transportation. Also, Uber, Lyft, and taxis are always a sober option. People who knowingly drink and drive will be banned from Beer Head. Please don’t put other people and yourself in danger.
*While most of the beers we try are above average in alcohol content, from time to time, you may get a bit loopy. It happens. However, please refrain from getting sloppy and out of control. We have great relationships with the venues we frequent and don’t want to put those relationships in jeopardy.
*Please be mindful when using the Beer Head website with communicating with other members. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. We welcome all to our group and want everyone to feel comfortable at our events. So we ask that you limit your personal messaging on the Meet Up page for Beer Head related topics and other beer topics. For other types of communication, we find that talking is the most productive.
* We understand that social groups with like-minded people can sometimes lead to attraction, but please do not use Beer Head as a dating site, and refrain from sending unsolicited personal messages to other members using the site's messaging feature. We want all of our members to feel comfortable at events, so if anyone receives a message from another member that makes him or her uncomfortable, please let an organizer know and we'll discuss how to handle it.
*Don’t be a jerk.
Beer Head is a free social club, however, it does take some expenses to run and organize our events. Donations are happily accepted in cash or using PayPal. Please do not use the link on Beer Head web page
