Pliny the Younger at Choice City

*Per Choice City Facebook; "Tapping Monday at 5pm. As in the past, tickets will be sold at 2pm. This guarantees you a pour. The line will start when u get there. Looking forward to having this beer with you!" "To keep it fair you have to be present to get a ticket. 1 per person"

(If you have folding camping chairs they might be helpful while waiting in line, last year I sat on the sidewalk and the cement is cold this time of the year. )

Choice City is one of the few bars in Colorado that will be getting a keg of Russian River's rare Pliny the Younger ! This delicious triple IPA is top rated by Beer Advocate. I went last year and there was a big turnout, including a line down the street.

From Russian River's Website; "Pub draft only, VERY limited distribution locally and to distributors on draft only, seasonal- released at our pub the first Friday of February and is available for just 2 weeks, available at select accounts during February."

So the Keg will be trucked to Choice City at some point in mid February. I asked the last time I was there; They said it would be announced on their Facebook and Twitter as soon as they have a date.
