Virtual Hackathon

Details
May's virtual hackathon was a huge success with participants from India, Kenya, Spain, and across the Bay Area. Back by popular demand, we will be hosting a second UX hackathon in June.
Continuing with the theme of designing for COVID-19, we will be joined this time by Dr. Morgan Wickline Getchell who has a Ph.D. in communication during an emergency.
As business start to reopen, there is a growing concern for how such a move will impact the yet unresolved pandemic. One of the biggest fears is that it may create a second wave of cases and erase the efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. During May's Hackathon, we challenged participants to identify a potential problem stemming from the Apple-Google contact tracing app and propose a UX solution. Each team did a great job and met our challenge with mindful UX solutions.
With the Apple-Google contact tracing in mind (and the idea of businesses reopening), the prompt for this hackathon is: How do we control/limit the risk of exposure to customers while also keeping them informed of the constantly changing risks around them?
For this event, participants will break into 5 teams of 5. The first 25 people to email chris@neuronux.com will be added to a team. Don't worry spectators are also welcome, so come join (with a beer) to learn while having fun!
