I'm sure you have heard that the Go language is playing an increasingly important role in DevOps. What does DevOps really mean? Batel will answer all of these questions (and more) during this hands-on workshop. We will create a Go repository manager with our Free DevOps Tools to create a Go project and run it while also setting up an end-to-end DevOps solution to automate your build artifact storage, vulnerability detection, testing, and deployment.

Whether you have 6 months or 6+ years of Go experience, this workshop is for you, if you want a hands-on learning experience with DevOps.

➤➤ Tools you will need:

1. When you arrive at the workshop, you will open your Free JFrog Cloud Account at http://jfrog.co/DevOpsTools_BZ7 (You can sign up ahead of time too!). We will walk you through it, as these are tools you will be using for the Workshop (and you can take them with you!). This is free, no credit card required.

2. Go client version 11.1 or above installed: https://golang.org/dl/

3. JFrog CLI installed: https://jfrog.com/getcli

4. Docker: The Docker client should be installed and configured on your machine.

5. Git + GitHub
   A GitHub account is required so that you can fork this repository, and Git must be configured in your terminal so that you can clone it.

6. Code editor - your choice

Batel Zohar is a Developer Advocate for JFrog and has a background in DevOps support engineering, web development, and embedded software engineering. Prior to this, Batel served as an Enterprise Solutions Lead on a dedicated team that accompanies and assists large customers through the architectural implementation of the JFrog platform.
