How to be (more) productive in IntelliJ IDEA

This meetup looks at IntelliJ IDEA tools, tips and tricks that will make you a more efficient and productive developer. The presentation examines all the things that make it possible to have a pleasurable development experience.

We will take a look at important shortcuts for editing, searching and navigation, refactoring, live templates and we'll cover some very basic HTML editing. We will examine tools for interacting with SQL databases, integration with GitHub and Maven. You should expect a lot of live coding that will cover stuff you will use at work.

I hope at the end of this meetup that you will learn (more) about IntelliJ IDEA and integrated tools that will help you get the job done faster and easier.
