NEW DATE 13TH OCTOBER Sunday Social Ride (with optional brunch!)

An easy Sunday social city ride via some of Glasgow's finest parks; part of the Glasgow Women on Wheels Cycle Festival.

This is an easy paced social ride suitable for anyone with a bike and no fear of Glasgow's roads. Meeting at north side of Bells Bridge at 10am, we will head towards Kelvingrove Park then along the Kelvin Way via the Botanics to Maryhill Park.
From there we will rejoin the Canal and swing in past Ruchill Park and the wee climb up to the flag pole where we can take in the view. The final stretch will take us along the Canal, through the city and down to the riverside where we will follow the Clyde to Glasgow Green. The ride will officially end there, however if anyone facies some post ride brunch, we can make plans to head somewhere nearby.

You need to take a bike in good working order, some money, lights for the ride home and good chat!

This ride is best enjoyed with the company of the sun so if the weather is rubbish I will postpone; keep an eye on updates on here.
