OK, so you can't decide what you like better; climbing or descending? Here's two each of Bend's best climbs and descents in the same ride. From Skyliner Sno-Park, we'll climb Tumalo Ridge to Swede Shelter, then cruise the south Swede Ridge Loop to Swampy Shelter, followed by a fun descent on Southfork. But wait, there's more! After a break beside Tumalo Creek, the climb up Northfork passes seven waterfalls to Happy Valley. We'll finish with a fun descent on Farewell and a mellow return on Tumalo Creek Trail back to the cars. This is an advanced technical ride and not for the faint of heart.....rocky climbs and descents, exposure, switchbacks, log crossings and more.....smiling all the way! Moderately fast pace, but not a race. We'll make stops at all major intersections to regroup. 99% singletrack and 100% fun!
