What we’re about
Are you a native English speaker who loves sharing your language and culture with others? Do you love the culture and people of the English-speaking world? Have you lived in an English-speaking country and are looking to maintain your communication skills? Then this is your Meetup group!
You will make new friends who are equally passionate about the English language and culture. You can meet people from foreign countries living in the Bergamo area who share similar interests. People of all ages are welcome to attend.
Our group is primarily for NATIVE English speakers and those who are FLUENT in the English language, preferably having lived in an English speaking country for a period. This is not a group for school level speakers, beginners or intermediate level - we are not a language school!
If you fit into the above and live in the Bergamo area or within a distance which permits you to attend our Group meetups, then please don't hesitate to send your member request if you'd like to join us.
Please note that there is a €5 annual fee for all members, to be paid at the first meetup attended each year. This is independent of how many meetups you attend.

We meet for
• aperitivo;
• English/Irish pub evenings on the second Friday of every month;
• English pub quizzes (starting again in September 2018)
• ethnic restaurant dinners
• other occasional outings (bike rides, picnics, walks in the mountains, bowling, etc.)
