New Meetup: Geopolitics - Freedom, Equality, Community

Announcing a new Meetup for Creating the Future!

What: Geopolitics - Freedom, Equality, Community

When: March 28,[masked]:30 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: In discussing the future we always discuss both technological and social aspects. To maintain a balance between the two I am going to alternate between technological and social titles for the meetups. For March I have used the French political motto ' liberty, egality, fraternity' translated into more contemporary English, 'freedom, equality, community'.

My use of the word geopolitics is to help focus the discussion on what roles important nation-states and political institutions will play in the development of these broad socio-political ideas. The discussion will, of course, go where people take it. I will present the thesis that during the 21st century the leveling of barriers to migration will probably become the major rising global social cause, similar to the role that the abolition of slavery and the limitation of working hours played in the last couple of centuries.

For introductions bring a quick statement about whatever aspect of the furtherance of freedom, equality, or community you most strongly identify. Also bring a $3 donation for the use of the space. We should have use of the larger room this time.
