Maker Show & Tell

Online event

Hello, friends! On theme weeks we will start with builds that are on-theme, but are thrilled to round out our time together with any kind of makery, so bring your stuff! We want to know more about your project! We want to see it, talk about it, learn about how you did or are doing it, be inspired by it, and throw you some shine to keep making! Fiber arts? Collage? Drawing? Gem mosaic? Scratch program? Cardboard contraptions? Wire wrapping? Hot glue sculptures? Lego whimsies? Musical instruments? …Robots? Built from scratch or modified? Surprise us with your creativity and imagination. Jen & Emily are prolific and passionate artists and art teachers based in Berkeley, California. You identify as a maker and a person. You can follow a Zoom link and bring a project you'd like to share and curiosity for the projects of others. Honestly, you don’t even have to share anything. Maybe you need inspiration this round. Do: *Maintain a respectful and kid-friendly environment *Be mindful of time so we can see as many projects as possible *Mute your microphone so we can keep focus on one presenter at a time *Give energy and attention to other presenters - we all hold each other *Take inspiration from each other's work Do not: *Post/share material inappropriate to an elementary school field trip *Feel you must have completed a project for us to find it interesting or inspiring *Take credit for anyone else's work Troll Policy: *We have NO tolerance. *We reserve the right to moderate chat. *We reserve the right to eject inappropriate participants. *Worst case scenarios may require abrupt event shut down. We apologize in advance.
