This is a group for people interested in Mandarin and Chinese culture. Both fluent speakers and those who are advanced learners of Mandarin are welcome to join and participate. During the pandemic we are meeting online using Zoom. [We previously met in person at the Starbucks near the Berkeley Village.]

Each month on the first and third Fridays, teacher 李老师 (Lǐ lǎoshī) from China will conduct a class in Mandarin at the HSK3 level using Skype. If you do not have a Skype account, join as a "guest" and then change "guest" to your name.
Please only sign up if you can attend. If you sign up and change your mind, please cancel to allow others to participate. "No shows" will be forbidden from attending these events in the future.
Some Rules:
- When you join, write your Chinese or English name in the Skype chat conversation.
- Mute your microphone when not talking. If you have a question, wait until the teacher or others are not talking.

We shall use breakout rooms to allow Mandarin conversations in small groups.
Level of Mandarin should be HSK4 or higher including fluent and native speakers.
