Ladies' Friday Night Dinner

Nature Vegetarian Restaurant

It's been a long few weeks, and I've been longing for some cheap Chinese food at my favorite Oakland spot. Also, it's always nice to end the week with a fun group of women! Nature is 100% Vegan, but you almost can't tell. All of their food is handmade and the potstickers are to die for. Also, it's right near 12th street BART. Let's do Family Style. If we order appetizers for the table and everyone orders one dish; we'll have more than enough and it won't be too expensive. Expect to pay around $20 or less including tax and tip (if we all stick to the plan!) Also, PLEASE BRING CASH because Nature doesn't allow more than one card per table. Oh, and Please be on time!

Hike Redwood Regional Park!

Redwood Regional Park Skyline Staging Area

Let's meetup and hike in Redwood Regional Park! We'll meet at the trailhead for Skyline Staging Area. Please by there by 11 - it will be hard to catch up as there isn't much service in the park itself. This is a beautiful, dog friendly park with wonderful redwoods. The route will be ~4.5 miles, and will have ~1200 ft of elevation. Please be comfortable walking up hills. It should only take ~2 hours but please budget for 3, just in case. The plan is to take the East Ridge trail => Phillip Loop trail => Stream Trail => Tres Sendas => Starflower Trail => French Trail => Stream Trail => Phillip Loop Trail => East Ridge Trail. I'm very familiar with the park so we won't get lost! My cell is[masked], feel free to text if you can't find us. Getting there: this is only ~25 minutes from downtown Oakland, but I'm not sure if AC Transit serves it. There a parking lot at the trail head, and it's easy to find street parking. Parking is free. Please bring your own water, and snacks if you think you'd like a snack on the trail. Sunblock is also good, but most of the trail will be shaded. Please check weather - it might be chilly so bring a light jacket. If it's raining, I'll cancel the meetup. See you at the trailhead!

Walk Lake Merritt

Farley's East

Let's meetup for a low key walk and meet some new people. I'll be there between 11:30 and 11:45, but we'll leave on the walk promptly at 12. I will be waiting outside the cafe, usually on a bench or at a table. Try not to be late! My cell is[masked] if you can't find us or are a bit late, give me a text and we'll try to meet up. • The route is a little over 3 miles • We usually finish and get back to our cars in about an hour and a half. • Dog-friendly! It's always fun to have a couple doggie friends on the walk with us ;o) • There is usually plenty of parking on Grand Ave around Farley's, also it's free on Sunday and time-limits do not apply See you Sunday!
