What we're about

This group is for people interested in drawing, art appreciation, picture making, and also generally looking at things. We host workshops to get you thinking about drawing and visual language. Along with talks about art and design, the classes are full of hands on exercises to bring these ideas to life. We are open to people of all experience levels, from artists with established practices to people who haven't so much as looked at a pencil in years.

The classes are led by drafts-person and multidisciplinary artist Tom Moore. They have exhibited internationally, including the ICA and National Portrait Gallery in London and have a background teaching in museums and galleries, including The British Museum and with the London Art Academy at Tate Modern and the National Gallery.

I feel like I’m equipped with a whole new toolkit and it’s been really great tapping back into some artsy creativity. You really found a great balance in art history & hands-on exercises, and racing to the class has definitely been the highlight of my week these past two months." - Maia Frazier on Introduction to Drawing and Visual Understanding. --- To sign up please email inkandbricks (at) gmail (dot) com http://inkandbricksdrawing.tumblr.com/
