Specifying and Testing Web Applications with Oskar Wickström's Quickstrom

Details
Quickstrom (formerly known as WebCheck) is an upcoming browser testing system, combining ideas from property-based testing, TLA+ and linear temporal logic, and functional programming. In this talk, we'll take a look at the core ideas, how it's currently implemented, the results from testing TodoMVC implementations, and some possible future work. For more details and documentation, see https://quickstrom.io/.
After some years of musical education, Oskar Wickström began his journey into the world of software. He’s now working remotely from the Swedish countryside, mostly focusing on functional programming, software architecture, and testing. In his spare time he writes technical articles at http://wickstrom.tech, when not spending time with his family or hanging out with mother nature.
This Meetup will be recorded and posted to YouTube. Please note that you will need to log in to Zoom with an account in order to participate and that attendance is first come, first served, limited to 100 people.
