Hackers unite!

in case you didn't notice - we had to skip our February meetup. This can only mean we have to work through a backlog of your awesome hacks of the last 8 weeks. Please note that this time we'll be running on a Monday!

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/e/6/f/c/event_213539132.jpeg (https://sumup.de/)This time we are very happy to be sponsored by SumUp (https://sumup.de/). They are building personal payment solutions here in Berlin and looking for your help. To introduce themselves to you, the local community, they are happy to provide us with delicious pizza.

As always we won't want to limit the kind of hacks. Demo cool stuff, no matter if it's an mobile app, website, desktop program or library. Anything is allowed, just cross the line to awesomeness - and if it fails it should do it really beautiful.

There are not many rules, but:

You'll get 5 minutes to present in English you or your team should have built it yourself people can ask you afterwards NO PURE SLIDEDECKS, no pitches, only Demos + Code keep in mind that the audiences is highly technical and starts snoring if you do marketing voodoo entertain us!

Gekettes wanted!

We heard the first women-only Hackathon (http://berlingeekettes.com/post/44610283109/passion-trumps-gender-the-berlin-geekettes-hackathon) powered by the Berlin Geekettes (http://berlingeekettes.com/) and supported by OpenTechSchool (http://opentechschool.org) and awesome companies (http://berlingeekettes.github.com/hackathon/#sponsors) was a raging success. In the end of the weekend there were more than 30 project results to demo, mostly much more than a simple prototype but a working product. Since we looove hacks we are explicitly calling out to the participants of this hackathon: YOU ARE INVITED! Come over to c-base and showcase your work. We'd love to see it!

if( you.isSure ){ bhnt.rsvp(you, true) }

To give everyone a fair chance the registration will open this time exactly 7 days before the meetup. This will be on Monday, March 18, 6.30pm. Mark it in your calendar!

If you come, tell us through Meetup. If you want to present, tell us in the registration form. And if you have feedback please send it to berlin@hackandtell.org. Our relaxed event will only as good as everybody makes it. Bring your hacks and your friends and join us for the evening.

PS: Presenters get a reserved seat. If you want to join for sure you should bring a hack and contact us.
