HI everyone,

after a very long summer break and months of travelling, we are back on track!!! This time we have a topic which everyone, no matter of gender and age, is interested in: love and innovative technology

150 years ago few people married for love - most married for property, to keep assets 'in the family'. 100 years ago 80% of people married people who lived less than 10km from where they were born (obviously this was before EasyJet ;-) ). Today we see how technology has influenced relationships, from easy transportation to Googling a new date before meeting them. So what does the future of technology hold? In this active and perhaps controversial discussion we will cover topics such as ex-vitro births, artificial intelligence, split personalities, honest agreements, dating apps and of course, love robots J.

This time we will be hosted by the brand new coworking space location, which belongs to Commerzbank, named “#openspace. It provides a large space fostering innovation and collaboration. It is the home base for international startups and the digital transformation platform for the German “Mittelstand” (SMEs).”

Romeo Kienzler works as Chief Data Scientist in the IBM Watson IoT World Wide team helping clients to apply advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence methods at scale on their data. His current research focus is on scalable machine learning on Apache Spark. He contributes to various open source projects and works as Associate Professor for Data Mining and Machine learning at a Swiss University

20:20-21:00 Mark Turrell: " Love Robots? And other Technologies that will shape Relationships in the Future

Mark is a strategist, author, and entrepreneur. His work combines collective intelligence with networks, complex systems, behavioral science and neuroscience. He is the founder of Orcasci, a consulting firm designing scaling and growth strategies with recent clients including the $1m Global Teacher Prize with the Varkey Foundation. Mark is also the CEO and founder of Vork, a business social networking application. Previously Mark co-founded Imaginatik plc, a pioneer in crowdsourcing and collaborative problem solving for innovation. During his 16 years at Imaginatik, Mark worked with hundreds of companies, including Allianz, Bayer, Cargill, IBM, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Whirlpool and Xerox. The World Economic Forum nominated him a Technology Pioneer and a Young Global Leader. Mark is an Associate Professor at Hult International Business School.
