Watch the movie on our own, then gather on Zoom for a discussion. What a concept!

Announcing the kickoff event of the Beth Ami Good Movie Club focused on provocative films with a connection to Jewish and/or Humanistic values.

Our first film is “Gentleman’s Agreement” from 1947 which explores antisemitism in American society. Does this film still speak to a modern audience? Does it relate to issues beyond anti-antisemitism? Watch it, think about it, and join in our discussion.

Here's what to do

  1. Rent the film online (for $3.99) and watch it before February 26. It's available on Amazon Prime, iTunes/Apple or Vudu. (see links in comments below)
  2. Click the meetup attend button to receive our Zoom link.
  3. Join us on Saturday, February 26 (6:00-7:30 PM) for a brief Havdalah service, followed by a lively movie discussion.
