Humanism beyond the "golden rule". We at Beth Ami often say we are a commandment free organization. Does that mean we don't have morals and ethics? Of course we do, but what are they?

Join us at our Havdalah to discuss some core principles of Humanistic Judaism. Consider this as a follow-up to Humanistic Judaism 101. Let's dive into the fundamentals of who we are.

Havdalah is the end of Shabbat. It is the welcoming in and preparing for the new week and most of all, it is a nice excuse for Humanistic Jews to get together and reflect on interesting issues. We will say goodbye to Shabbat with a brief Havdalah candle ceremony and then jump into our discussion.
