Shabbat/Good Movie Club - Humanistically
Details
Watch the movie on our own, then gather on Zoom for a discussion. What a concept! That's how we roll at the Beth Ami Good Movie Club focused on provocative films with a connection to Jewish and/or Humanistic values.
The film this time is "Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution." The discussion will be moderated by Stu Dolnick, who selected it because he has seen its impact on audiences. The film will introduce you to people who are dealing with significant disabilities and remind you that, despite apparent differences, we are all part of the human race and share the same needs and challenges. The connection to humanism is clear.
Watch it, think about it, and join in our discussion.
