6:30 Food and Social Time (brought to you by Plaster Group)
7:00 Main Program
8:15 Retrospective
Summary:
Customers value different features within the same product in very different ways. Most development teams lose these multi-dimensional distinctions with blunt, single-dimensional models that make it very challenging for teams to align what they do with these different types of value.
Agile and Lean concepts do bring a rigor for "how" to build a product. But they don't help with "what". Clearly, a new perspective can have a big impact on how teams allocate their work. Market Fit Fast is a two-dimensional model of how customers value. It is simple, but insightful, offering a new language that enables teams to repeatedly align to a precise and compelling goal, simplifying project management and streamlining work for products ranging from coffee to complex application platforms.
With three simple questions, Market Fit Fast is easily adopted in Agile and Lean ceremonies. One meeting often cuts a team’s time to market by 75%, largely via applying agile principles (e.g. #10).
Intended session outcomes:
- Understand the 5 different types of customer value – within a single product .
- Apply Market Fit Fast in an interactive exercise .
- Understand how you can use the insights to increase customer value while decreasing your work.
